June 15th to 20th, Berkeley Campus, California

A Photo Report by Ian Wood

A week after the conference, and I'm just about recovering from jet-lag. Anyway, welcome to my photo-report on the conference. Interactive versions of some of the panoramas can be found here alongside panoramas from other attendees.

Thursday

After arriving late at night on Wednesday night, Patrick Cheatham picked me up at the airport. Thursday morning we headed off to campus...

  • Another random suberban street
  • Telegraph Avenue

  • Sproul Hall, Berkeley Campus
  • Sather Gate, Berkeley Campus

Don kindly gave me a lightning tour of the campus, a bit more impressive than the University of Plymouth (that's the 'original' Plymouth).

  • Library Staircase, Berkeley Campus
  • Eucalyptus Grove, Berkeley Campus
  • Don and an old tree, Berkeley Campus

Apart from the wonderfully day-lit underground library, the Berkeley campus has a lot of green spaces and some wonderful specimen trees.
