These images were taken during two visits to the city-
one in February 2000 and a longer one in July 2001.

Berlin is full of tucked away gems and architectural details,
starkly contrasting with the glut of new buildings since
reunification. Each new corner presents a new vista,
a new quirk, another entrance hall full of ornate tiling.
